At its meeting held in Vienna recently, the CELIMO Council elected Mr Hank Oude Reimer as its new President.
Mr Oude Reimer has been a member of the CELIMO Board since 2015, representing FPT-Vimag, the Dutch member of CELIMO.
He takes over from Mr Erdal Gamsiz who has led CELIMO since 2019, taking the organisation through the Covid pandemic during which most of our meetings have had to be held on-line.
Mr Oude Reimer will lead CELIMO for the next two years and aims to increase its membership; this could be either associations representing importers, distributors and dealers of machine tools and related equipment (CELIMO Full Members) or, in countries where there is no relevant association, from individual companies (CELIMO Associate members).
A major event coming up is the CELIMO International Meeting which will take place during EMO in Hannover on Wednesday 20th September. Details of this will be posted on the CELIMO website as soon as they are confirmed.
